Copper
We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Erin after adopting Copper. Even though Copper already knew his commands from the weekend he spent training with her before his adoption, we realized that we needed help learning how to properly work with him ourselves. Erin came to our home for several sessions, and those visits gave our family so much more confidence.
She has a way of explaining everything that makes it easy to understand, and she always takes the time to answer questions without ever making you feel like you’re asking the wrong thing. She genuinely wants you to succeed, and that shows in every interaction. Rather than simply telling us what to do, she explained the reasoning behind each command so we understood how to communicate with Copper and reinforce the behaviors we wanted.
The biggest takeaway from working with Erin is that training isn’t just about the dog, it’s about teaching the owners. Copper already had the skills, now our family has the skills too. We’re continuing to practice everything she taught us every day, and it’s amazing to see how much stronger our bond with Copper has become because we all understand each other better.
If you’re looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly passionate about dogs, we can’t recommend Erin enough. We appreciate everything she’s done for our family and for Copper, and we’re so thankful we had the chance to learn from her.
